Scale of Operations

The UAEDCL caters to the works of sub transmission and distribution of electricity to the consumers, both High Tension(HT), Low Tension(LT) at voltages of 132KV, 33KV, 11KV, 440Volts or 230 volts. For sale of power to the consumers, the UAEDCL generates bills every month to be paid by the consumers within a due date without surcharge. The tariff for different category of consumer is fixed by the Assam Regulatory Commission.

Construction of lines and sub stations are either being done by the company or the consumers on turn key basis on payment of the estimated amount. Materials are generally allowed to purchase by the consumer.
